Revoke Device Administrator Permission for Third-party Apps
You can now disable the Device Administrator permission for third-party apps on devices enrolled as Android Enterprise Work Managed with an OEM-specific plugin via a script command. After disabling the permission, you can uninstall these third-party apps through SOTI MobiControl.

Restrict Side Key Settings on Samsung
You can now disable access to the Side key settings on Samsung devices enrolled as Android Enterprise Work Managed. This allows administrators to restrict device users from using the Side key settings to access unapproved settings while in Activity Suppression Method Lockdown Mode.

- Android Classic: OS versions 4 and 5
- Android Enterprise: OS versions 5 and 6

New Android Agent Branding
The Android agent logo has been updated to reflect the redesigned branding for SOTI MobiControl.
New JavaScript Scripting Features
The Android agent’s JavaScript Scripting feature set has been expanded with more options for automated and powerful scripting on Android devices:
- Install, uninstall, and set Wi-Fi Network configurations on Android Classic and Android Enterprise Work Managed
- Access IMEI, ICCID, Subscriber ID, MCC, MNC, Carrier Names, Phone Numbers, and Signal Strength for all SIM cards on Android Classic and Android Enterprise Work Managed
- Configure Zebra Mobility Extensions (MX) XML based configurations for Zebra devices on Android Classic and Android Enterprise Work Managed
- Set Access Point Name (APN) Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) on Android Classic and Android Enterprise Work Managed
- Access list of installed APNs on Android Enterprise Work Managed and Corporate Personal devices with a supported OEM-specific plugin
- Access Custom Attributes on Android Classic and Android Enterprise Work Managed and Work Profile
