Release Highlights
New JavaScript Scripting Feature
The Android Agent’s JavaScript scripting feature set has been expanded with more options for automated and powerful scripting on Android devices:
- Ability to detect if Lockdown is enabled on Android Enterprise Work Managed and Android Classic devices.
- Ability to fetch system property value, such as build version, and view associated custom data on Android Enterprise Work Managed, Work Profile, Corporate Personal and Android Classic devices.
- Ability to clear application cache on Android OS 10 with OEM-signed plugin on Android Enterprise Work Managed devices, as well as on Android OS 6.x and 7.x with an OEM-signed plugin on Android Classic devices.
- Ability to access battery temperature and battery voltage information on Android Enterprise Work Managed, Work Profile, Corporate Personal and Android Classic devices.
- Ability to detect the login of a shared device user on Android Enterprise Work Managed and Android Classic devices.
- Ability to access the Wi-Fi certificate information on Android Enterprise Work Managed, Work Profile, Corporate Personal and Android Classic devices.
- Upgraded JavaScript processing engine.
Android 15 Device Support for Android Enterprise
Android 15 devices are now officially supported, allowing administrators to manage them with full compatibility and utilize all current Android Enterprise features in SOTI MobiControl.
