Upgrade Observations

  • The MobiControl installer will warn on upgrade if it detects Profiles with the Webroot powered "Web Filter" and/or "Antivirus" device configurations. Future upgrades will not be allowed unless all "Web Filter" configurations are transitioned to "SOTI Surf", and all Android device agents are upgraded to v13.5 or higher to continue support for Antivirus.

Features and Improvements

SOTI Surf

  • Added ability to configure default values of SOTI Surf app settings
  • Allow users to open files downloaded in SOTI Surf in third party applications
  • Added ability to print HTML web pages directly from SOTI Surf browser
  • New script command to set default zoom level of SOTI Surf browser: sendinfo net.soti.action.surf BROWSERZOOMLEVEL value
  • Improved the user experience of SOTI Surf document editor

API

The following new public APIs were added in this release:

  • systemconfiguration/globalproxy (GET/PUT/DELETE) - System Configuration for Global Proxy – allowing for the creation of exceptions in the proxy settings.
  • systemconfiguration/globalproxy/isenabled (PUT) - allows the user to enable and disable global proxy settings
