Upgrade Observations
- The MobiControl installer will warn on upgrade if it detects Profiles with the Webroot powered "Web Filter" and/or "Antivirus" device configurations. Future upgrades will not be allowed unless all "Web Filter" configurations are transitioned to "SOTI Surf", and all Android device agents are upgraded to v13.5 or higher to continue support for Antivirus.
Features and Improvements
General
- System logs are no longer archived by default to files in new MobiControl installations. If needed, it can be enabled through Global Settings.
- Improved performance of File and Package transfer to devices
- Added support for performing device actions at the group level including, but not limited to:

- Send Script (via Platform or SMS

- Introduced ability to configure the device search engine in a multiple Management Service environment by allowing the user to specify a Management Service FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) in the MobiControl Administrator Utility
- Added new Global Permission, Manage Device Scripts, that controls the right for a user/group to create, rename, edit or delete scripts
Android Enterprise
- Set the "Disable Smart Lock" feature control to be enforced when the "Disable All Keyguard Features" feature control is active for Android Enterprise
- Added ability to configure Wi-Fi Proxy settings within the Wi-Fi profile on Android Enterprise
- Added ability for users to view ELM License Status in the Device Information panel once ELM has been activated
- Added ability to enforce minimum Wi-Fi security level on Android Enterprise devices with Samsung ELM enabled via the "Enforce minimum Wi-Fi Security Level" feature control
- Renamed "Disable Google Account Creation" feature control option to "Disable Account Creation" where administrators can disable "All Accounts" or "Google Account" creation on the device
iOS
- Added new Restrictions option: Hide Control Centre
Linux
- Added support for custom attributes on Linux devices.
macOS
- Replaced "iOS" with "Apple" in MobiControl License Information dialog box
- Added new device and user profile configuration - Custom SSL.
