- Both SOTI MobiControl and SOTI Identity can access on-premise directories and certificate services through a shared Cloud Link Agent
- High availability and load balancing with multiple Cloud Link Agents servicing requests
- Communications are encrypted, signed and sent over HTTPS.

Support for Cloud Link Agent High Availability Deployments
To ensure business continuity and maintain operational efficiency, you can now set two or more Cloud Link Agents (CLAs) to handle large numbers of requests to access on-premise active directory and ADCS resources. These additional CLAs will improve performance by load balancing the requests and ensuring all requests are handled, even when one CLA is down.
Note: If you are using an older version of the Cloud Link Agent (e.g., 1.x, 2.x, or 3.x), you must upgrade to CLA 4.0. To set up CLA 4.0, you will need to uninstall the older version of CLA. If CLA 4.0 is not set up with SOTI MobiControl 15.4.x, any operation or functionality related to LDAP and AD CS will not work. For more information on CLA 4.0 setup, please refer to the CLA 4.0 help file.

v3.0.0 on August 04, 2020
Outbound SOTI Cloud Link Agent
Companies can now establish secure communication between their local network and SOTI MobiControl cloud instances without opening an inbound port. The latest version of SOTI Cloud Link agent, v3.0, facilitates communication to your enterprise services through an outbound port and initiates all application requests from the SOTI Cloud Link agent.
Note: If you're planning an upgrade to SOTI MobiControl v15.2, you'll need to upgrade the SOTI Cloud Link agent component on your local server to v3.0 and ask SOTI technical support to prepare your SOTI MobiControl cloud instance for the transition. SOTI Identity and earlier versions of SOTI MobiControl must continue to use their applicable versions of the SOTI Cloud Link agent.
